Craneswater Group Practice Patients' Forum

We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.

We have an active Patients' Forum so that you can have your say.

All patients in the practice are automatically members of the Patients' Forum. The primary purpose of the Forum is to provide a channel of communication between our patients and the practice.

The Forum is run by a committee of patients from both surgeries which meets several times a year. Meetings are attended by one of the GPs and/or one of the practice management team. The practice seeks your views on proposed changes to the operation of the practice. Issues raised by patients can be discussed with the practice at these meetings. Members of the committee also attend regular meetings of the Portsmouth CCG's Patient Participation Group. (The CCG is the statutory NHS body which commissions local health services).

There is a cheese and wine event in the summer that includes a Q&A section with our GPs and there are also topics by specialist speakers at our AGM, the most recent of which was held in October at the Frank Sorrell Centre (our usual venue for these events).

We aim to gather patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

You can complete the online sign up form below or contact the patients' forum directly, the email address is Craneswater.ppg@nhs.net.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
